Chelsea fans are insisting Enzo Maresca “must be sacked” following their performance in the Premier League clash v Ipswich at Stamford Bridge.
Maresca’s side rescued a 2-2 draw at home after two first-half goals from Julio Enciso and Ben Johnson sent them into half-time 2-0 down.
The second half saw and Axel Tuanzebe own-goal pull one back shortly after the break, before Jadon Sancho’s 79th-minute strike earned the Blues a hard-fought point.
As a result, Chelsea have now won just three of their last eight Premier League games and are in danger of missing out on qualification for the Champions League.
Failure to win against Ipswich, following a win for Man City against Crystal Palace, means the Blues have now dropped to fifth place in the league.
Large sections of the home crowd have voiced their frustrations towards the manager both for his results and style of play – as many insisted he should be sacked “tonight”.
