West Ham 2-5 Arsenal: Saka & Ødegaard net pens, Gunners go 2nd on the table

Arsenal deliver a hammer blow in east London to go second.

Arsenal FC gave a heartbreak to their former gaffer, Unai Emry as his West Ham team were humiliated at home by 2-5.

The match which had attracted wider attention due to the tie that connects the coach to Arsenal and West Ham soon became a one-sided affair when Gabriel stunned the host in within 10 mins.

This was followed by another strike by Trossard to make it 2:0, while Arsenal captain made it 3:0 from the spot.

Kai Havertz and Saka completed the humiliations by scoring the fourth and fifth goals. The home team reduced the deficit with goals from Paqueta who score in the first minute of the game and Emerson in the 40 mins.

Arsenal returned to the second position on the log with Manchester Citu, Liverpool and Chelsea playing on Sunday.
