Police Neutralise Notorious Kidnappers, Gunrunners, Recovers Arms in Nasarawa

NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE

The Nigeria Police Force on Friday said, the FID-IRT of the Nigeria Police Force have neutralised some kidnappers, gunrunners who have been terrorizing Abuja, Kaduna, Kogi, and Nasarawa states.

The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Acp Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who disclosed this on the official X handle, said that the criminals were neutralised at their hideout around Gitata, along Keffi Gidan Wire Road, Nasarawa State.

According to the NPF, four (4) AK47 rifles, dangerous weapons, and a bag of ammunition were recovered at the scene.

The NPF explained that the neutralised individuals have been involved in supplying arms to bandits operating within the same axis.

“This successful operation, conducted in the early hours of Thursday, demonstrates the unwavering commitment of the NPF to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.” The Force explained.

The Force however assured that the NPF will continue to employ all necessary measures to rid our communities of criminal elements and maintain peace and order across the nation.
