Ogun Police Nabs TASUED Undergraduate For Alleged Kidnaping, Armed Robbery, Cultism

The Ogun State Police Command has apprehended an undergraduate of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Abdul-Azeez Ibrahim, for alleged kidnapping, armed robbery, and cultism.

The Force Public Relations Office (FPRO), Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who disclosed this in a short statement on his X account (formally twitter), said the suspect is an extra-year student of the university.

Abdul-Azeez who was arrested on Saturday in Ijebu Ode, is said to be the hit man and armourer for a cult group, the Neo Black Movement of Africa, popularly called ‘Black Axe’.

He was pictured with a number of arms and ammunition including double barrel guns, locally made and English pistols and a cloth believed to be a fortified operational costume.

The FPRO however promised that the Ogun State police command will address the media on the case as soon as possible.
