Amidst the growing economic challenges plaguing Nigerians, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has taken a decisive step.

The NLC, in collaboration with the Trade Union Congress (TUC), has announced a two-day nationwide mass protest.

Scheduled for February 27 and 28, this protest aims to draw attention to the pressing issues faced by citizens.

Joe Ajaero, the NLC President, delivered this announcement during a press conference at the Labour House in Abuja.

Workers across the country have been grappling with mounting tension and dissatisfaction due to the prevailing economic conditions.

In response, the NLC and TUC had previously issued a 14-day ultimatum to the Federal Government, demanding the implementation of crucial agreements to alleviate the economic hardship faced by Nigerians.

While talks with the government have commenced, the NLC remains resolute in its pursuit of justice and relief for the struggling populace.

The upcoming nationwide protest serves as a powerful expression of their determination.
