The Italian club announced on Monday that Juric, alongside his staff of Matteo Paro, Miguel Veloso, Paolo Barbero, Stjepan Ostojic and Michele Orecchio had been relieved of their duties.
Sunday’s three-goal home defeat against Sassuolo was Juric’s final match in charge of Atalanta — a result which left them 13th in Serie A.
The 50-year-old Croatian was appointed in the summer summer, replacing the long-serving Gian Piero Gasperini, who left for Roma. Juric had previously been in charge of Southampton but was dismissed in Aprilafter 108 days, following their relegation from the Premier League with seven games to go.
Gasperini transformed the Bergamo club into a Champions League regular and won the Europa League trophy in 2023-24, with the club recording a third-place league finish in the Italian top flight last season.
Juric, however, oversaw just two wins from his 11 Serie A games at the helm, having won just one of his 14 matches in charge of Southampton last term. Juric had never previously managed outside of Italy, having coached Roma, Torino, Hellas Verona, Genoa, Crotone and Mantova before his spell on the English south coast.
Atalanta have collected seven points from their four Champions League league phase matches this term, and are currently 16th in the standings.
