After the match against Liverpool, Wesley Fofana was interviewed by Chelsea and talked about his expectations for the upcoming matches.

Talking about the draw with Liverpool
“It’s a good result, we worked hard to get a second goal and created a lot of chances, I think we deserved a better result than a draw, but a draw is also good because the opponent is a strong team and it’s difficult to win there.”
“So we can be proud, but we need to keep working hard because we have an important game next week, the FA Cup final, and we will do our best to win the trophy. Of course, this is not the best time, but we are united and fighting hard.”
“There are still a few games left, and a final, and we need to fight for European qualification because Chelsea is a big club. We must go all out. Next week there is the FA Cup final and we will work hard to prepare and try to win the trophy.”
Talking about scoring a goal
“It should have been my goal (finally awarded to Enzo)! I wasn’t too sure at the time, but I watched the video and I touched the ball, I felt it, but I wasn’t sure, and I was afraid I was offside, but after the game I watched the replay in the locker room.”
Talking about Enzo’s pass
“That was a beautiful assist, but I wasn’t too sure at the time because I thought I might be offside, so I pretended it was Enzo’s goal, but then I saw in the locker room that it was my goal.”
“He always seems to be able to do that, his free kicks are really good, that was a beautiful shot, he has the ability to kick the ball wherever he wants, and we are very happy to have such a good player in the team.”
